Prolong your Dogs Life - With These 5 Tips!
Prolong your dogs life by up to 134% with 5 tips to help get your dog into healthy condition. Nearly all dog owners know that there has been a lot of problems with commercial dog food recently. There has been quite a few dog food recalls as well because of some of the dangerous ingredients which were found and also because of the pets that lost their lives.
How can you ever know what goes into these commercial dog foods, there has been reports of other dead animal carcases and bones, even animal feces! and that is not including all the horrible fillers and additives that go into these dog foods to keep their shelf life.
I’m going to give you 5 tips to help prolong your dogs life and keep your pet as healthy as possible and in good condition.
1) Water! Everybody needs water to survive so this first one is of no surprise, it helps keep yor dog hydrated which then makes sure every internal organ is working efficiently
2) Vitamins and minerals, again same as humans dogs need a good supply of vitamins and minerals, they can not live a healthy life without them, the best thing is to speak to your local vet so that they can advise you on the proper amount of vitamins and minerals to give your dog in its diet.
3) Fatty Acids such as omega 3 and omega 6 are essential to your dogs diet which will improve your dogs coat and also their help to protect their joints.
4) Protein the number one ingredient to help build muscle and help in the regulation of antibodies, there should be at least 40% of protein in your dogs diet.
5) Carbohydrates to give your dog a healthy supply of energy throughout the day.
All the above tips you will notice are very similar to a human diet, so make your own healthy homemade dog food to help ensure your dog is as healthy as it can be and in the process prolong your dogs life.
Do not be worried into thinking that this will require to much work and you don't possibly have enough hours in the day to be able to do it, it is really quite easy to do, because the foods that you will be preparing are pretty much the same as us humans eat you can prepare a batch while you are cooking your families dinner and just put it in the freezer so that it lasts the whole week, it could’nt be simpler!!
I would stress to consult your local vet first because they will no what your particular breed of dog requires in terms of how much of each nutrient to include in his or hers food.

Frequently Asked Questions...
• Would you consent to the life of a dog?
•Would you consent to the life of a dog? Come on, I’ll let you live in my yard, I’ll feed you and play with you and all you have to do is bark at people that walk by the house, and if they enter the property unbidden you have to bite them. That’s it. Everything else will be taken care of, and you wont have to worry about much ever again. Would you consent to this life? Why or why not?
Answer:
I don't think I would consent to the life of a dog... mainly because I don't like having restrictions, I'm a bit of a free spirit who hates being told "NO!" and I hate taking orders. Even with all the positives you listed, I wouldn't be happy to just lie in the sun all day except for mealtimes and going outside. But it's mostly the *confinement* that would just kill me. I can't stand confinement, I'm claustrophobic and I also don't like socializing very much. I also like taking risks--walking out to the edge of a cliff w/ a 600 foot drop, skydiving, rock climbing to a peregrine falcon nest--you name it! (although the peregrine falcon nest was a mistake. If I'd known they were there I would not have voluntarily chosen to antagonize the fast and the furious peregrine falcon mother and father!) For me personally, there are a few people I like and the rest I dislike (even if I haven't met them! Isn't that terrible? But it's true.... haha.) Dogs seem to like everyone and anyone they come in contact with.
I would definitely consent to the life of a wolf though. Wolves have free range and their lives are always a risk--never know when you're going to eat again, never know if some hunter has their sights on you, never know if you might have to fight in the next 2 hours to defend your turf. You only have to deal with a few others a day (your pack, which is mostly your family), and the rest of the wolf population you can hate and it's socially acceptable.
Yeah... I'm strange.
Cheers,
Phoenix
