Where can I find a free logo design program that will allow me to save or use it as a letterhead.?
I have found a few but they don't allow you to save or do it in a format that can be used. I am starting up a company on a budget and can't afford to pay for a high tech logo. Really looking for something simple.

If you did search a little you might have found that almost all of the software aimed at creating logos are not free. I will offer you a solution around this, but first let me recommend you a software I really like. It's called AAA Logo Software and it focuses on creating logos out of objects, signs, shapes, arrows and others. The benefit of this is that it offers more room for creativity. Now, the only way (that I know of) for getting around it is to use another software to make a screenshot of your created logo while designing it in AAA Logo Software. If you need a free tool for capturing screen I recommend PicPick:

The problem with capturing the logo with a screen capture software is that you cannot create logos bigger than your screen. Still, if you don't need a high-resolution logo, this solution should work for you.
